Q) What is Mousefoot?:

A) Mousefoot, developed by University of Pittsburgh alumnae, is a FREE online community that links student and colleges together where they can exchange goods and ideas

Q) How does it work?:

A) Only students with active school email addresses (an email address ending in .edu) are permitted to create and maintain Mousefoot profiles. Once a profile is created, the student may post items that they wish to sell.

Mousefoot differs from other on-line "post and sell" venues in that the time lines for each transaction are flexible. Enabling the seller to decide when to accept a bid and gives the buyer the option of how long their bid will be available. This eliminates and protects the student from entering a biding war. Bidding wars, which plague other "post and sell" venues.

Every user who joins Mousefoot will be given a Mousefoot email account called "MouseMail". All Mousefoot correspondence will be sent to this email address. When selected, students school email address (the address ending in .edu) will be used only to notify them that they have MouseMail. Mousefoot does not sell the email address of it's memebers.
